Christmas Homework for Y1/2 2017

Due in Wednesday 3rd January

Our new Topic after Christmas is focused on learning about the world, through famous stories.

Choose your favourite traditional story from this country, e.g. The Gingerbread Man, Little Red Riding Hood. See if an adult can share this story with you and then create a comic strip about this story. This can be of any size and use any kind of creative materials you wish.

Think about what you can learn from that story-are there any morals?

Firework Art – November 2017

Y1/2 created outdoor firework art as part of their topic this term.  The children thoroughly enjoyed getting messy and created some fantastic art work which is now on display in school.

Y1/2 End of Topic – “Bonfire Party” – 30th November 2017

We would like to keep what is happening at the party a surprise, but do hope you can attend!

Thank you for your continued support,
