Netball and Football Tournament at St Joseph’s, Rugeley – September 2017

The children competed in a football and a netball tournament against several schools from the Cannock and rugeley area. Both teams worked incredibly hard and battled all the way until the end. Our footballers were resilient and held their heads high in defeat whilst our Netballer’s came second, bringing home some well deserved medals – well done to everyone involved!

Netball Regional Finals at Fenton Manor Sports Complex

February 2017

From winning the Cannock and Rugeley tournament, we had won the right to represent the local area in a regional competition.  This included ourselves and also 9 other schools from across Staffordshire.

With some extremely tough competition, we won 2 matches, drew one match and lost the other. Unfortunately, we missed out on a place in the semi-finals by goal difference.

A cruel blow, but overall a wonderful achievement for the school.
