Year 5 and 6 took part in the Prince of Wales Award over several months working towards the award which was presented at the end of term. Well done everyone. As part of the Award the children fundraised for the local SSAFA, with a cheque for £626 being presented at
Early Years had fun watching (and helping!) a block of ice melt and discovering maths and seaside related objects inside. When it had melted completely they compared the objects by size, colour and shape, counted how many and made different numbers with the numerals they had found.
May 2019 – everyone in school undertook to walk or run a mile – the weather was perfect and the children all had a fantastic time.
