Forest School Practitioner (Lead)
holding a minimum of an accredited Level 3 Forest School qualification
(Grade 5)
Actual salary £4,300 to £4,564 p.a.
(Full-Time Equivalent Salary £20,043 – £21,269)
Fixed Term to July 2023, Part-Time Contract, Term Time only based on 39.02 weeks per year (term time plus five INSET days)
The school seeks to appoint a qualified Forest School Practitioner, with an up-to-date first aid qualification, which includes paediatric and outdoor elements, to lead a range of Forest School activities at Henry Chadwick Primary School. Duties will include planning and leading Forest School for children across all year groups, including nursery, setting up and clearing away, supervising children as part of Forest School sessions, preparing and maintaining Forest School general equipment and resources. The successful candidate will support the school’s overall provision for children in school as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.
Hours: Part-time 9 hours (three afternoons, currently Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) three hours per day – 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
