Hedgehog News

We were driving home today and the children spotted a hedgehog on the grass between the pub car park and Chadwick Crescent. It was really small and walking about in the daytime so we had a look and found a lady in the village who helps to rescue them. We took it to her and she said it would be too small to survive the winter . She is taking it a Hedgehog Rescue place tomorrow so they can help to rehabilitate it.

They were all really proud and I thought it would be nice for the school to know.

Apparently there is a really good population of hedgehogs in the village. The best food to give them is dry kitten food and a bowl of water.
