Henry Chadwick’s Mission Statement: Learn to Live

At Henry Chadwick Primary School, we believe that education is about far more than academic success. Our motto,"Learn to Live", reflects our commitment to preparing children for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life beyond the classroom.

We strive to create a happy, caring and inclusive learning community where every child feels valued, respected and inspired to achieve their very best. Through a rich and engaging curriculum, we equip children with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to flourish both now and in the future.

Our vision is for every child to leave Henry Chadwick as a curious learner, a confident individual and a responsible citizen, ready to make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Our Values

At the heart of everything we do are our core values:

Respect

We treat ourselves, others and our environment with care and consideration. We celebrate differences and value every voice within our school community.

Kindness

We foster a culture of compassion, empathy and support, encouraging children to care for others and to understand the impact of their actions.

Hard Work

We encourage resilience, determination and a growth mindset, helping children to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes and take pride in their achievements.

Learning For Life

Through high expectations, strong partnerships with families and a commitment to nurturing the whole child, we aim to ensure that every pupil develops the character, confidence and skills needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.

At Henry Chadwick, we don't simply learn for school. We Learn to Live.

“Creating a happy, caring and secure environment where all children can thrive, grow in confidence and individuality whilst learning skills for life.”
